Client Story

When Charles Shaw moved from Liberia to Minneapolis in 2012, he found it hard to find housing and maintain a job. He turned to the Minneapolis Urban League for help. One of our Employment and Training employees helped Charles create and obtain housing and financial goals. Within a short period of time, he secured housing, found a job with growth potential, got a driver’s permit and temporary work/travel papers. Charles’s story is like that of many others who use our programs and services. Congrats to Charles for creating a pathway to prosperity for himself and his family.
